Dogtown Collar Sizing Guide

Custom Fit for Every Pup: Our collars are crafted to fit your dog perfectly. We utilize a straightforward numerical sizing system to ensure each collar matches the precise measurements of your dog. If you have questions about finding the right size, we're here to help!

How to Measure Your Dog's Collar Size:

Using an Existing Collar:

  1. Choose a collar that fits your dog comfortably.
  2. Lay the collar flat on a surface.
  3. Measure the length from Point A (Pin in Buckle) to Point B (the hole that fits best) as illustrated in our guide below. Ignore the buckle length in your measurement.
  4. Round up to the nearest inch for the collar size. When in doubt between two sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.

Using a Soft Tape Measure or String:

  1. Use a string or soft tape measure.
  2. Have your dog sit down calmly.
  3. Wrap the string or tape around your dog’s neck, positioning it where the collar would normally sit.
  4. Ensure there's enough room to slip two fingers under the measuring tool for your dog’s comfort.
  5. Mark where the string or tape meets and measure the length when laid flat.
  6. Round up to the nearest inch. Opt for the larger size if you're hesitating between two.
